DEERFIELD, Ill., November 7, 2019 – Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (Nasdaq: WBA), a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy, today announced that its affiliate Boots International has signed an agreement to form a store development partnership with PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), a leading lifestyle retailer in Indonesia.
Under the terms of the agreement, together the two companies will create a Boots branded pharmacy-led, health and beauty retail business in Indonesia. The first stores are expected to open in the second half of calendar year 2020.
