Walgreens Boots Alliance Appoints Tiffany Kanaga as Vice President, Global Investor Relations
Nov. 4, 2021 - Walgreens Boots Alliance today announced that Tiffany Kanaga will join the company as Vice President, Global Investor Relations. Kanaga will be responsible for leading the investor relations team and broader function to educate shareholders, investors, analysts and other constituents about the company’s strategic priorities and vision, initiatives, results, progress and financial performance.
She joins WBA at a pivotal moment, as the company recently unveiled its new strategy and company priorities during last month’s Virtual Investor Conference, “Reimagining Local Healthcare for the Next Era.”
Most recently, Kanaga served as Head of IR at Elanco Animal Health. Prior to that, she was a Research Analyst on Deutsche Bank's Apparel & Food Retail team, and was recognized as a Rising Star in the 2017 and 2018 Institutional Investor surveys.
She previously held similar roles at the Buckingham Research Group and Citi Research, and also served on the IR team at Anheuser-Busch InBev. Kanaga began her career in investment banking with J.P. Morgan Chase's Consumer Retail group and at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
She earned her MBA from Columbia Business School, and double majored with French and Management Science degrees at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Kanaga will report to James Kehoe, WBA EVP and Global Chief Financial Officer, with her first day planned for November 15.
She succeeds Gerald Gradwell, Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Special Projects, who will be leaving WBA at the end of November.
